MOS: Heavy Equipment Rebuild

Memories:
Waking up one morning between Cu Chi and the Cambodian border to an in camp
fire fight between an M-16 toteing cook and a poor unarmed Boa Constrictor.
After an hour or so of the one sided fire fight we found the infiltrator in amongst
the well ventilator.
"Have massage table, will travel" carpenter".

J. B. Carpenter, John Fraser, Jimmy (Gramps) Milligan, Philip Rink, Kerry
Millick and Dave VanWinkle are close friends and still keep in touch every year.
J. B. Carpenter holding either my Russian AK-47 or my Chinese "knock-off" that had
an M-14 round through the barrel as clean as if you had drilled it in there on a drill
press. The cigar is John Fraser's, I was just a poor kid from Indiana, and could barely
afford to keep my Pall-Mall addiction fed :-)
